Deep Tissue Massage

Per hour : $60

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure the client is comfortable at all times. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that any client receiving this work should drink extra water after the session to help prevent cramps and help alleviate any soreness they might experience.

Trigger Point Therapy

Per hour : $70

Trigger Point Therapy is a manual therapy technique that focuses on stimulating and releasing "trigger points" in your body. Trigger points are known as hyper-irritable spots within a tight band of muscle, or as what most people would refer to as "knots".  These "knots" are formed by your body in response to prolonged use or tension within a muscle. During a session, focused pressure is applied through a variety of techniques order to release your trigger points. This process can be uncomfortable at times, yet the effects are lasting and profoundly transformative. The therapist does not work beyond a clients pain threshold, but rather communicates with the client to ensure the discomfort is manageable at all times. When receiving this kind of treatment, clients must stay aware of their breathing, and work with the therapist to relieve any specific discomfort they're experiencing. Soreness can be expected the following day, but should resolve within 48-72 hours, given the client completes any at home care recommended by the therapist.

Sports Massage

30 minutes: $35

Sports Massage is a type of massage designed for highly active people who engage in athletics regularly. Most often, sports massage is administered in pre-event and post-event treatments. Sports Massage enhances performance and can help prolong a sports career by helping to prevent injury, reduce pains and swelling in the body, relax the mind, increase flexibility, and dramatically improve recovery rates. Sports Massage is also highly effective in aiding the rapid recovery of an athlete from an injury by encouraging greater kinesthetic awareness and in turn promoting the body's natural immune function. Sports Massage treatments often include a variety of assisted stretching as well as a technique known as Proprioceptive Nerve Facilitation, or PNF. This particular technique helps the targeted muscle group relax and increase the range of motion achieved.

Swedish/Relaxation Massage

Per hour : $45

Swedish Massage, also known as relaxation massage, is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines gliding and kneading techniques originated in Sweden, to provide increased circulation within the body. A light to medium pressure is used to manipulate the muscle on the surface level, but still relieves some pain associated with aggravated nerves. Within this kind of treatment, no specific work is done, only general manipulation of muscle groups.
